an alternate version

when i recorded the tracks for 'The Singularity', there were often alternate takes for each track that differed dramatically from the final chosen tracks on the album. here is one, a different version of Directional Reflection, which is track six on the album.

on October 10th, dreamlogicc will be performing live on RTS.FM, a moscow based internet video and radio stream with studios in half-a-dozen countries.

at noon, central standard time, tune in for a roughly one-and-a-half hour live set, and a chance to watch drmlgcc live from anywhere in the world!

dreamlogicc live - august 2010

I have a couple performance dates in late august and early september... with the new album just released (you can download 'the singularity' free at tonatom.net) this will be my 'album tour' so to speak.

that being said, each show will be quite unique, as is the drmlgcc standard by this point, with sets containing heavy doses of improvisation between 'track' moments, where i might attempt to play something previously recorded...

August 25th - Morseland, Chicago - 9pm ish - Heartbeats is a weekly night of electronic music hosted by momentsound friend Lokua. This night will be a unique one, with Lokua and i teaming up for an improvisational ambient set early in the night, as well as solo live pa sets by each of us later on. Expect deep and tech-ie sets...

September 5th - Rodan, Chicago - 10pm - ill be invading the sXy Rodan lounge in wicker park, as a guest for the Living Sundays event series. Im currently crafting a unique set, tailored to the uniquely subdued sound system they have there. Expect a very dancy, techno-y sort o' set.

Friday, April 30th @ avantgarde in Chicago

This friday i will be playing an upbeat, tech-house style set at Avantgarde, a Euro-style club on the west side of Chicago. There is an open bar from 9 till 10, and the admission cost is $7.

the lineup is headlined by a pop act, Maria Lidas and Linda Rice. As supporting acts, along with dreamlogicc, will be a house set by Mr.Ray-t, Anthony M, and Merc & Chosen.

February 18th - Tonally, with special guest The Abominable Twitch

yessir, back with another TONALLY! this time Chicago glitch-master The Abominable Twitch will be headlining the night!

our monthly night at Junior's in Pilsen is expanding to two nights per month!

Tonally will be moving to every 1st and 3rd THURSDAY. We're very excited to double our beatz-time with youuu {@_@}

but till the third thursday of february, there is the FINAL TUESDAY! And we have our friend Protman joining us to blitz your brain with his brain machines !!

dreamlogicc will be one half of the evening's entertainment for this wednesday's edition of Heartbeats, a weekly electronic music night @ the Morseland, in Rogers Park, Chicago.

Lokua and Dreamlogicc will be battling back and forth all night, so come out and take up beat-arms {^_^}

Dreamlogicc will be playing select new material from his upcoming release, RE:, this evening at Lilly's in Lincoln Park, Chicago, from 7 to 8pm. Lilly's is located at 2513 n lincoln avenue, just north of fullerton.

there is a $6 suggested donation for this show...

for the Tonally residency at Juniors, hosted by drmlgcc and slowerson, our good friend M50 will be headlining.

Recently having returned to Chicago from an extended stay in Berlin, m50 AKA area AKA Max is full of energy and new electronic sounds from across the globe.

there are four dreamlogicc performances coming up at the end of October, and early November...


One, as the backing band for soul/hip hop artist Somilia Rabee, will be a costume party in the suburbs of Chicago, Ill.

Murphy's Pub in Forest Park will be headlined, on Friday, October 30th, by Somilia Rabee, backed by Kris and drmlgcc.


Two will take place at Lilly's in Lincoln park, Chicago - close to DePaul University.
