Saturday, February 20th @ the Hollywood Lounge w/ Velva and The Atomic Theory Band

an interesting night of live electronics and fusion music is in store for saturday evening. its a free show, on west bryn mawr, 3303 w. to be exact.

Dreamlogicc will be headlining, with Atomic Theory Band leading off the night. After the drmlgcc set, members from Velva and Atomic Theory will come on stage for an improv electronica set.

our monthly night at Junior's in Pilsen is expanding to two nights per month!

Tonally will be moving to every 1st and 3rd THURSDAY. We're very excited to double our beatz-time with youuu {@_@}

but till the third thursday of february, there is the FINAL TUESDAY! And we have our friend Protman joining us to blitz your brain with his brain machines !!

the monthly deep electronic music night that Slowerson and I host is upon us once again...


the headliner is very special indeed. Sibilant has been making beautiful washes of electronica in Chicago for quite some time now. Sadly, she is leaving. Not just leaving Chicago, not just Illinois, but leaving America entirely. At the end of January, she will be moving to Grenada to pursue a career in the medical field.

This will definitely be the last chance to see Sibilant play live for quite some time {&_&}

And to accompany Sibilant's smooth sounds, photographer Wendy Alas will be projecting her portraiture and fashion photography - work that I feel has a parallel in Sibilant's tones - soft, elegant, and gentle imagery...

it all goes down tuesday, january fifth, EDIT EDIT - there is a new location for this months edition, in pilsen, Middle_Space, near 18th and Ashland. email for details

Wednesday, December 23rd

dreamlogicc will be one half of the evening's entertainment for this wednesday's edition of Heartbeats, a weekly electronic music night @ the Morseland, in Rogers Park, Chicago.

Lokua and Dreamlogicc will be battling back and forth all night, so come out and take up beat-arms {^_^}

come through from 7-8pm to hear, as always, a one-of-a-kind live electronic music set by dreamlogicc.

the new temporary home of dreamlogicc

while shikugaru is down, this site, blogspot.dreamlogicc.com, will be the information hub for all music projects by Justin James. dreamlogicc, drmlgcc, c.cigol, and other monikers will disperse secret downloads from time to time, and j. beckman will provide the album and artist concept design.


It is Fall, 2009, and this is a good place to begin this drmlgcc archive.


there are four dreamlogicc performances coming up at the end of October, and early November...


One, as the backing band for soul/hip hop artist Somilia Rabee, will be a costume party in the suburbs of Chicago, Ill.

Murphy's Pub in Forest Park will be headlined, on Friday, October 30th, by Somilia Rabee, backed by Kris and drmlgcc.


Two will take place at Lilly's in Lincoln park, Chicago - close to DePaul University.
