the monthly deep electronic music night that Slowerson and I host is upon us once again...
the headliner is very special indeed. Sibilant has been making beautiful washes of electronica in Chicago for quite some time now. Sadly, she is leaving. Not just leaving Chicago, not just Illinois, but leaving America entirely. At the end of January, she will be moving to Grenada to pursue a career in the medical field.
This will definitely be the last chance to see Sibilant play live for quite some time {&_&}
And to accompany Sibilant's smooth sounds, photographer Wendy Alas will be projecting her portraiture and fashion photography - work that I feel has a parallel in Sibilant's tones - soft, elegant, and gentle imagery...
