I had a guest in the studio tonight, Cosmic AC. He has been producing high quality chilled-out music for years (also under the names Light of Sumeria and Weather Corporation), and I finally managed to get him in to the WNUR studios for a unique dj set. He began with nearly a half-hour of all original material, with flavors of Good Looking-style drum and bass and thick progressive synth chords wrapping everything together. For the second portion of his set, he went in to house-mode, with classic smooth and downtempo 4/4 driving the late-night mix, And closed out his set with a few more originals.
